Continuous layer grafting
a new technique for rapid multiplication of apple rootstocks

Continuous bud grafting, the subject of this work, provides easy multiplication of basic material, allowing the rapid production of the necessary number of mother plants for establishing a rootstock nursery for apple trees. This technique does not require much space, and the quality of the stems and rooting is very good.
