Environmental monitoring is also highlighted in the journal with articles addressing flooding events at high tides in Santa Catarina, as well as the collection of tidal variation data. In addition, the RAC edition brings works with diseases and pests of banana and rice crops, microorganisms that promote plant growth, economy and genetic improvement.

It is also worth mentioning the marks achieved in 2021. We conquered new indexes and continued to reach marks that prove the evolution and greater visibility of Agropecuária Catarinense. This year the journal was indexed in the Diadorim and DOAJ directories, now summing eight indexers.

Another important information is the growing number of registered downloads: in October 2021 alone, there were more than 10,000 downloads. This demonstrates the growing visibility achieved by the journal. In addition, RAC achieved the highest number of citations, proving the interest in the journal in scientific circles. RAC also started to adopt the Ahead of print model, with articles already accepted published even before their completion, which guarantees a larger and earlier audience for authors.
