Abstract

The black oats (Avena strigosa) is a crop of great interest for farming in southern Brazil. The objective of this study was to evaluate the physiological and sanitary quality of black oat seeds treated with Trichoderma spp. and fludioxonil, isolated and combined. The treatments used were: seeds immersed only in water (control), seeds microbiolizated with Trichoderma spp., seeds treated with fludioxonil and seeds with the combination of Trichoderma spp. + fludioxonil. The combination Trichoderma spp. + fludioxonil showed the highest effectiveness in the control of fungi present in black oat seeds, however it reduced the initial growth of the plants.
