New indexers and news from RAC

The Agropecuária Catarinense journal (RAC) continues to evolve since the 2020 editorial changes, with good news for the scientific community. We conquered new indexers and we continue reaching brands that prove evolution and greater visibility. In addition to the new indexers, we registered a large number of downloads.

In 2021, the journal was indexed in the Diadorim and DOAJ directories, now adding eight indexers (Agrobase, FAO Agris, CAB abstracts, Diadorim, DOAJ, PKP Index, Capes Journal Portal, Open Access Journal Portal).

It is important to emphasize that, in addition to the quality of the journal, the achievement of new indexers demonstrates the importance of adopting new practices by the journal, which must be observed by the authors.

Another highlight is the growing number of accesses registered this year: in October 2021 alone, we reached more than 10 thousand downloads of our articles, which demonstrates the growing visibility achieved by the journal.

Among the new practices adopted by the editorial team, RAC has just launched the publication Ahead of print, with the articles already accepted being published even before the journal is finalized, which guarantees a greater and anticipated audience for the authors.

Do you want to publish your article in 2022?

With an average processing time of 37 weeks, submitted and approved articles tend to be published in less than 12 months. In addition, Agropecuária Catarinense accepts articles in English and Portuguese, it is indexed in eight databases and does not charge publication fees.
