Control of the shoot borer (Crocidosema aporema) (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) in soybean cultivated under organic system
Keywords:
Azadiractha indica, nosódio, homeopatia, agricultura orgânicaAbstract
This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of alternative products to chemical insecticides in the control of the soybean shoot borer. The experiment was conducted at the Experiment Station of Epagri in Lages, SC, southern Brazil. The experimental design was in completely randomized blocks, with four replicates and seven treatments: Neem oil 1%, 3% and 5%, Dipel® 0.5 and 0.7L/ha, soybean shoot borer biotherapic 10ml/L, and control without intervention. Neem oil showed the best results in controlling the soybean shoot borer. However, the two highest concentrations caused phytotoxic effects on soybean plants. Bacillus thuringiensis did not show satisfactory control efficacy. The treatment with biotherapic did not differ from the control in any of the evaluationsMetrics
