Rural development approaches called systemic, participatory, and sustainable have not shown significant changes in relation to previous strategies. As a result, the results are making little difference. In which, development is seen as the result of an intervention planned from the outside in and centered on the adoption of technologies. There is an effort to change and improve the methods used, combating old paradigms.
