        Abstract

        It was studied the relationship between the frequency of copper oxychloride sprays and the incidence of citrus canker in sweet orange leaves, caused by Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. citri. Four, seven and 11 sprays of copper oxychloride were used in a sweet orange orchard, cv. Valência, located in Marema, SC, Brasil, from 1997 to 1999. It was found that the control of citrus canker starting from four sprays of copper oxychloride in 30-day intervals
