            Abstract

            Climatic aspects, and especially the possibility of finding microclimates favorable to onion seed production, are of fundamental importance for obtaining good quality seeds at low cost. Within this context, observation units (O.U.) were implemented in the western region of Santa Catarina, which served as an evaluation of onion seed production, while maintaining the perspective of becoming a new alternative for small farms in the region.
