The productivity of cassava can be affected by various biotic and abiotic factors. Among the biotic factors, diseases are certainly very important, and serious losses have been reported due to the occurrence of bacteria, fungi and pathogen viruses. For this reason, it is important to correctly diagnose the diseases and recommend the most appropriate control measures. This article describes the major diseases of cassava in Santa Catarina and their forms of control.Downloads
