Abstract

The aim of this study was to evaluate the productivity and disease intensity on cabbage, cauliflower and broccolis in organic cultivation in Spring/2003 and Autum/2004. Variables related to productivity were compared by Duncan test and those related to disease intensities by Kruskall Wallis test. Differences in productivity were verified only for cabbage in the Spring/2003. Broccolis and cauliflower did not differ in
productivity and head weight. Broccolis ‘AF-817’ and cauliflower ‘Sharon F1’ presented lower intensities of black spot, but not of black rot. In Autumn/2004 no differences were observed in productivity, however black rot
intensities were different for hybrids of broccolis
