Alignment with Open Science

RAC - Agropecuária Catarinense adopts the Open Access model. In 2026, it will operate under the continuous publication model.

a) It encourages open evaluation – partial or total – with the publication of the review alongside the article, identifying the responsible editors.
b) It stimulates the publication of submitted materials on preprint servers.
c) It promotes the deposit of research data in free repositories.
d) It promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion in the following areas: geographic, gender, and ethnic, with a more plural team.
e) It allows for changes to the author(s)' first, last, and last name(s).
f) It uses persistent indicators such as: DOI, ORCID, and ROAR.

RAC will operate the workflow based on SciELO guidelines, adopting and guiding authors, editors, and the entire technical and scientific community to adapt to the demands of good practices in scientific publication.

RAC does not charge for publishing. It provides free access to all its publications, without any restrictions for the author or reader.
